Hi, any ideas to fix this? When clicking the box for the custom user image I get this error...
Your administrator has disallowed changing your image.
I had this problem on both kde 4.2.1 and kdemod 4.2.1
Thanks for the help in advance..:)

Hello, no one can answer? I also have this issue. Is there any way to investigate this issue from logs etc? Running systemsettings through console doesn't give any answers.
Only:
systemsettings(10013) MainWindow::selectionChanged: Comment: ""
systemsettings(10013)/kdeui (KNotification) KNotification::slotReceivedId: 0
systemsettings(10013)/kdeui (KNotification) KNotification::close: 0
systemsettings(10013)/kdeui (KNotification) KNotification::~KNotification: -2

Ok, sorry, this only needed some thinking.
Start systemsettings as root (sudo systemsettings) go to Advanced -> Login Manager -> Users and change there User Pictures to Individual (names might be slightly different because i use non-english system and translate them ad hoc:)).
Close systemsettings.
Then you'll be able to change your picture as you expect.
Cheers.
