cups filter error when printing multiple page pdf

Hi
after recent cups printer filter update I have problem with printing multiple page pdf from HP6800
I can only print one page at a time:
E [23/Apr/2009:21:36:40 -0700] PID 21125 (/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip) stopped with status 3!
E [23/Apr/2009:21:36:47 -0700] [Job 1220] Job stopped due to filter errors.

On the other hand printing from Phaser6250N works fine and no errors. So it seems like HP6800 drive has some problems introduced recently.

I have an apparently similar issue (no multi-page PDFs, just one page at a time) with an HP 6MP printer.
