Epiphany download manager

Hey,
I really love the epiphany browser, it feels more snappier than firefox, but i really dislke the download manager,  Is there a way to change, maybe execute wget in a terminal or something like that

there is an extension of gwget for epiphany... but it requires some tweaking to be detected by the browser and work, as its for epiphany 2.24... (only changing the epiphany version in the extension files, and the folder of installation)

but... for make a comparison... I think konqueror-kget works much better than gwget-epiphany (for example... epiphany don't launch gwget: if gwget is not running, epiphany uses his download manager... and there is no option to close gwget when all downloads are finished)
