Thunderbird3 issues - HUUGE dialogs/windows...

Config Editor:
tMXQwaA

Mail View:
tMXQwag

Best one: the install dialog for an addon: (Yes this fills the whole screen and still doesnt manage to show more than 2 half letters....)
tMXQwaw

Anyone a clue what might cause this - obviously thunderbird is unusable this way... googling shows that NOONE seems to have this issue...

He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.

Did you try to delete or rename (the recommended option) the config folder of thunderbird? Maybe some old config is wrecking havoc with the new thunderbird.

I can only think of some strange interaction with the dpi setting ... if thats not the case then I have no clue.

I've got exactly the same problem. Also been looking round for a solution, but not even sure how to google it!
