kde 4: installing splash screen theme[SOLVED]

Hi,

System Settings->Appearance->Splash Screen->Get New Themes...->OxyArch Splash Screen->Install

Looks pretty straightforward, but no OxyArch appears in the list of available splashes. What's the little something I've missed ?

download it manually via kde-look.org (you're being redirected to some obscrure download site, also the reason why it doesn't work what you did), in the system settings choose 'install theme file' and select the downloaded tar.gz file

UPD:

Not worth the trouble, actually... Somebody else's splashes are pretty useless. This is by far the cleanest solution. Install and vote !
