[SOLVED] disable screen dimming with xfce4-power-manager

The new xfce4-power-manager puts my screen on full brightness when I touch the mouse/keyboard after not using them for 10 seconds. This is very *annoying*. There used to be an option to disable brightness control, where did it go? It's still there in xfce4-settings but it does not seem to affect anything.

Is anybody having this problem? Do you have a solution for it?
In case this is hardware specific, I have a Dell XPS/m1330 with GMA965 graphics (and brightness control is already frustrating on that laptop).

Also, why does the inactive->suspend threshold have to be more than 30 minutes? I was already bothered by gnome-power-manager forcing it to 11+ minutes. This is so silly.

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.

Works, thanks. Mine was on 10 seconds for battery, but that was applied to AC as well...
