hello there,
since yesterday i'm having kwin problems after kernel- and nvidia-utils upgrade. 3D effekts are still working, no issues there, but i dont see any menues in kde applications. even running krunner (ALT+F2) doesnt work properly. i see it in the process list, but this little window doesnt appear on the screen. The plasma taskbar doesnt show any window information too, clicking the K doesnt show the KMenue. I must say, atm this all isnt really useable for me...
what other infomation do you need to get it work again?
this is an x86_64 system.

oh, what else have i tried... completely forgot about that. i ran "KWIN_COMPOSE=O kwin --replace &" on konsole as mentioned in this post: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=74609
now these messages appear each time a menu should show up:

Now solved, I installed the nvidia driver from nvidia.com and its workign again.
