Thunar volume manager fails to eject disks

There's a weird problem with my "thunar --daemon".
It recognizes and mounts optical media just okay, but when i press the eject button on my DVD tray, the following error message appears:

Failed to eject "/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_DVD_RW_ND_3551A".
Given device "/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_DVD_RW_ND_3551A" is not a volume or drive.

I just checked - it really isn't smile there's not even such a directory as "/org"...

However, the command eject /dev/dvd works just fine - after i added myself to the group "optical" (the solution was obvious, but i made it not without a help from DjGera smile ).

So, the problem seems to be really thunar-specific...

Could anybody suggest how to solve the problem?
Thanks.
