Pekwm and Tint2 won't play nice together. Help?

I love both tint2 and pekwm very much, but i want tint2 to be at the top of my screen, and it refuses to be. It runs FINE at the bottom of my screen. but when I set it to run at the top, it doesn't show up. it launches with no errors, just won't go.

Any ideas?

what does your tint2rc look like?

I'm not in front of my computer right now, but I think you can set the startup location of any app in pekwm.

Re: Pekwm and Tint2 won't play nice together. Help?

I don't use pekwm but for the short time I tried it out I realized that it isn't very compliant with EWMH, so it's probably pekwm's fault that things don't always work out with external apps.
I think I remember having problems with tint2 as well, perhaps it was the same problem, I don't know anymore...

Yeah, it's definitely a pekWM problem more than a tint2 problem, it works just fine in Openbox.. I just like pekwm a little better is all.

Here's my tint2 config file, it's set to display on the bottom right now, because it won't display at the top.

Try

panel_margin = 0 1

I had the same issue with tint and pekwm. Setting the margin to one pixel made it appear on my screen. Perhaps it will work for you too.
