This is my first time to use Arch Linux and i would like to know is it possible to make a minimal install of KDE4 using Arch, similar to Debian way?
First of all, is there any page like this one (http://packages.debian.org/experimental/kde4) where it's possible to review all the Arch packages and their descriptions?
The idea is to take just the minimal OS image, review the packages, and then just install KDE4's necessary parts using command line, without the usual bloat?
Thanks.

As far as I know there are 2 ways:
1. Wait a couple of days until KDE 4.3 reaches [extra].
See this Wiki entry: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KDE_Packages
2. Consider using kdemod:

If you want now, untill kde 4.3 come to extra, to use kdemod, which I prefer, just add repo for kdemod in /etc/pacman.conf, and install kdemod-minimal!

@CaptainHero - Thanks, this is the closest thing to what i've been looking for (the first option). I'll definitely review it, and then install it to see how that would work.
@Pyntux - this is also a good idea, but i get the feeling that "kdemod-minimal" is maybe still a bit bloated. The best way to get the real minimal install is to pick all the packages one by one. If the first option fails for some reason, this is the best alternative so far. Can't wait to try Arch this way.
Thank you both for replying.
