I remember a while back, within the last year, being able to call one gnome session from within another on a different X server display. Lately, when I've been trying this, I've been running into errors and it seems like the GNOME-session variables can't handle two sessions simultaneously. I've found one way around this: using sudo. That makes me think that maybe it's working because it's a different user, but I haven't tested that theory yet (single user laptop). Anyone else run into this? Any fixes? Can this be considered a bug?
