hello people
could anyone help me with the .fonts.conf and fonts configuration ?
should i use the -lcd packages ?
the cleartype ones ?
none of them ?
i'm really confused on how to achive the best font view.

Your question is, "Which setup is better for my individual eyes and hardware." That's impossible to answer for anyone else - you have to choose yourself, by experimentation. It's a personal preference thing.
So try them. Personally, I prefer Ubuntu's patches. My ~/.fonts.conf is here.

Fonts are quirky in Linux thats for sure (Linux is free, minus the time investment ). I'd also play with your DPI, this makes a huge difference. I've found on both my laptop and desktop (both wide screen LCDs), full hinting to me looks way more cleaner than slight; don't even mention medium to me.
I have an attachment to Windows fonts because of Word Processing, but if you don't do Dejavu Sans (or Bitstream) fonts all around- they are superb on an LCD display, and whichever font packages you use they seem to remain tried and true.
