pdflatex issue

Since I switched to Arch which uses TeXlive from TeTex, none of my documents have been viewable on Windows with Acrobat Reader.  I have tried to configure with texconfig-sys and updmap-sys but all the documents I send are blank in Windows (but perfectly fine using evince on Linux) and it gives the error "Cannot extract the embedded font 'XASWUQ+CMR17'.  Some characters may not display correctly".  I've never had this issue before and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: pdflatex issue

This is just a guess, but it might help.

Try installing: texlive-fontsextra

Re: pdflatex issue

I've spent the last hour testing this problem.  And what I have found out is that if I zip the file and email the zipped pdf everything is fine but if I email the plain pdf it comes out on the other end mangled somehow.  This seems to be an encoding issue with email.  Not sure if it is with Arch or the webmail server being used.
