Any way to preload dolphin?

Hi,
I switched to kdemod4 and it looks pretty good. i speeded up konqueror startup by selecting always try to have at least one preload instance, and konqueror now runs instantly. I found that dolphin can be opened much faster, just open dolphin, and open another dolphin window, you will see how fast it will open. But i still cant find a way to preload dolphin, and im not very good at application called "preload", if someone knows solution please share it.
I decided to preload more applications because i have 1.5 gb ram and im impressed that only 190mb are in use, and i never work with many applications.
Thank you

Re: Any way to preload dolphin?

You can try using the Preload daemon.  Put it before the start of X, and it will adapt to what binaries and libraries are loaded into memory, and preload them into memory at boot (at the expense of slowing down the boot process by a few seconds).  You should [may] see results in about two or three reboots.

Re: Any way to preload dolphin?

As you can see, i had added preload in rc.conf one month ago, but even after month my applications dont start faster. I disabled this daemon. Please people, help me! Preload dont works, what else exists?

Re: Any way to preload dolphin?

If you shutdown with Dolphin running, it will be re-loaded on startup. I have about 6-10 apps
which I leave running when I shutdown. They all are there when I start-up.
