problems with Xfapplet, resizing applets and gnome-menu

Hey,

Cant find the gnome-menu in xfapplet selection list..
Also, xfapplet seems to have a problem with applets of dynamic size, like deskbar and globalmenu. I think it has something to do with a flag named PANEL_APPLET_EXPAND_MAJOR.. any workarounds?

wiki, forumsearch, google and aardvark all failed me
