hi all...
I need to install ies4linux to browse some websites that support only IE. So i tried to install ies4linux, after installing wine wine-1.1.27-1 from the stable arch repos. when i try to install ies4linux it says
IEs4Linux 2 is developed to be used with recent Wine versions (0.9.x). It seems that you are using an old version. It's recommended that you update your wine to the latest version (Go to: winehq.com).
The wine version installed seems to be a newer version that what ies4linux asks for.
Can anyone help me solve this problem..? Thanks.

that is indeed much older then the version of wine you have. i did a little googling and found an article on the subject that said to just ignore the warning.

Yeah, I think so, it works here. You need to install ies4linux after wine update, and it seems ok, by you.
