Setting tint2 as "top" in Openbox

Hello. I'm looking for a way to enable tint2 as "top" layer in Openbox. On any other window, I can right click to do this, but there appears to be no way to right click the panel to bring up the appropriate menu.

I'm doing this because I would like the drop shadows from xcompmgr to not showup on the taskbar. So another question would be if there are any alternatives to xcompmgr that can co-exist with Openbox...

Thanks.

Re: Setting tint2 as "top" in Openbox

don't tried xcompmgr, but it look like option -C removed shadow on the panel.

-C Disable shadows for panels and docks. Only used in conjunction with the "c" option.

let me know if it working.

thanks

Re: Setting tint2 as "top" in Openbox

Still wondering how to achieve this. -C only disables the dock's shadow, but does not remove any windows that might cast a shadow on the dock. The problem is particularly ugly for maximized windows, as they still cast a shadow.
