Evolution - Some preferance settings greyed out

I have a problem, where I want to use some of the settings that come with Evolution, except some of them are greyed out.

I took a screenshot to show exactly what I am talking about:

Basically I want to make use of:
"Keep Signature above the original message on replying"

but I can not since it is greyed out. Do I have to compile my own Evolution to get rid of this problem?

Well I guess this is not going to happen then. Anyone have pointers where I can start looking? Google didn't return any usefull results to me at least.
