Gdm freezes - radeon x1300 nightmare

Hi,

I would be very happy if I could make my graphics card to work.
I tried installing open source drivers xf86-ati-video as in
tutorial on archwiki, I enter modprobe radeon than started gdm but it displays
login window with cursor but everything is freezed, so it has to be restarted
manually. I tried to see /var/log/xorg.0.log but it's empty, after first start
with new config file.

I don't know what to do.
Any help would be appriciated.

This is typed from links and I hope it can be seen properly.
