Pidgin 2.6.1 package from [Extra] Repo with Audio & Video disabled

Hi guys, yesterday i installed the new Pidgin 2.6.1 from official [Extra] Repository and viewing the "About" information, say that the Pidgin was compilated with audio & video disabled.

I try to chat with a Gmail  contact (she with the web client) and  i don´t found any video or audio button in Pidgin chat window.

Do it means that i need to compile from source the new Pidgin for the audio & video support or i'm doing something wrong?
