Screen size problem while starting up Arch in VMware
I have set the default screen size to 1280x800, but every time I start up the Arch virtual machine in VMware, the screen size is always 800x600, and if I click the KRandRTray icon, than the screen size will be retrieved to 1280x800 immediately.
How can I fix the problem? thanks for reply.

Hello Cpc!
What's in your xorg.log about it? It would be good if there is any cause why he didn't succeed to set 1280x800. Do you follow the wiki page, installing the guest addition ? Which kernel/driver/X do you use ? What happens if you boot in run level 3, and trying to start X with manually, 'startx' command ? Can it work normally if you try it in host archlinux ?
