New pacman -Qu design

What happened to pacman -Qu output? Since last update to pacman (now: 3.3.0), a few weeks ago, all I am getting is a list of applications which would get updated. This list is not usefull at all - IMHOP, at least. It does not group the apps of the exclusion list nor showing the new version - both of which was the case until the upgrade. I found the old output much more useful. Is there a way to get the old output restored?

No. -Q is for local packages only, not for sync packages.

Pacman 3.4.0 will probably have a new --print option, which is the extension of --print-uris (you can even change the --print-format), and you can "simulate" any transaction with it (including -Su), see http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/ … 09341.html
