grub error 15 [SOLVED]

I added another partition to my hard drive, and now / is sda5 instead of hda6. I get grub error 15 on boot.
I changed the arch entry in menu.lst, and typed "find /boot/grub/stage1 at the grub prompt in a live CD. It said "Error 15: file not found"
