kdemod won't start after reinstall

so i was reinstalling ach with kdemod on my laptop and after downloading everything and istalling as per the beginner's guide.
i cannot get to the DE i simply watch the splash screen after the login, and once it is done i am immediately notified of a plasma-workspace crash,
followed by something about a segmentation fault.

i am totally lost.
if there is anyhting i can do to help you help me, please tell me.

This is becouse of the network plasmoid. Either you plug in a cable, start and disable the plasmoid, or you uninstall it. You can use the knetworkmanager, or, as I recommend, switch to wicd. There is a wiki entry about wicd.
