Hi here,
Firefox works properly, but once it's closed, top reports it to use 100% CPU. Everything's back to normal after I kill Firefox.
Anyone else seing this behaviour with Firefox? BTW, my system is a fully updated x86_64, in case that matters.
Thanks.

I have the same problem here, i have tried to remove the .mozilla to start from scratch, and the problem is still there.
The backtrace gives me :

Looks like you use KDE4 as well., maybe this is related?
I noticed similar reports on Fedora, but couldn't find a workaround.

I also have this issue sometimes and I use GNOME, so it probably doesn't matter what desktop environement you use.
However, I also use the vimperator extension and I wasn't sure whether it is not because of that.

Gtk application that shows Qt in backtraces... looks like it's caused by gtk-qt-engine or whatever plugin/extension you installed that pulls it in.

Yup, JGC got it right. Disabling gtk-qt-engine is the actual workaround. Do you think I should file a bug?
