Hi to all.
I'm having problems to get kde4 to start after the last update. I have already openend a bug report, and I also tried to uninstall all kde and install it again, but I don't be sure if a simple uninstall left some configuration files behind.
So, How is the proper way to be sure all kde stuff is deleted from my system? (I already have backup copy of my .kde4 and .kde home files
I want to get all this out to try to reinstall again from scratch and look if this solves the problem.
the other way could be, how is the best method to downgrade all kde to the previous version? (I have the packages in /var/cache/pacman(pkg) but there is any way more automatic than uninstall one by one and install the previous one by hand?
Thanks

For an automatic downgrade use ARM together with pacman -Syuu.
Also, instead of backing up your config files it might be easier to create a new user.
Good ideas do not need lots of lies told about them in order to gain public acceptance.
