numlock on in XFCE4: solved

XFCE4,  x86_64, Slim

I can't get numlock to come on at boot.

I have added numlockx to Applicatioms autostart, put numlock  on  in /etc/slim.conf and tried exec numlockx in .xinitric but no luck.
Also I can't find numlockx in /usr/bin so I don't know the full path.

What should I be doing here?

Re: numlock on in XFCE4: solved

I use xfce4 and i've simply added numlockx to the autostart applications, nothing else

Re: numlock on in XFCE4: solved

That didn't work for me, perhaps because I am not using gdm/kdm?

However adding 'numlockx on' instead of 'numlock on' as indicated in Slim's /etc/slim.conf did!

Thanks
