Video playing at kdemod3 causes high cpu usage

Hi guys!

Well the title of the topic says it all , i've installed recently kdemod3 but when i play videos i have high cpu usage .

The cpu usage is not 100% but it's very noticable . I have nvidia 6600 geforce go and i have edited the xorg configuration with nvidia-xconfig .

I have tried many media player kaffeine , noatum , vlc , smplayer and i have the same issue .

Does anyone what might be the issue ?

1) What kind of videos are you playing - HD, normal dvix etc?
2) What are your specs. your card doesn't support VDPAU so high cpu usage is not exactly something unusual when playing videos especially on low end CPU.
3) What are the video output settings? xv? gl? gl2?
4) Posting your xorg.conf would help to diagnose the problem (if there is one)
