[SOLVED] cdemu - mounting error and disappearing gcdemu

Hello i've just installed cdemu  & when i try mount image i get error. My DE is xfce. Some entries in /etc/rc.conf:

MOD_AUTOLOAD="yes"
#MOD_BLACKLIST=() #deprecated
MODULES=(vhba)

DAEMONS=(syslog-ng @network @netfs @alsa crond hal slim cdemud)

When i type in terminal:

cdemu load 0 ~/heroes_3_cd1.ISO

i get error like:

Rejected send message, 1 matched rules; type="method_call", sender=":1.16" (uid=1000 pid=1624 comm="exo-mount) interface="org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member="Mount" error name="(unset)" requested_reply=0 destination="org.freedesktop.Hal" (uid=0 pid=1318 comm="/usr/sbin/hald)).

Also i don't know why i can't add gcdemu (cdemu applet for gnome) to the panel using XFApplet.
I've installed every necessary package.
libmirage
gcdemu
cdemu-daemon
cdemu-client
vhba-module.
My /etc/conf.d/cdemud looks like:

# how many optical drives to emulate
NUM_DRIVES=1

# control device
CTL_DEVICE=/dev/vhba_ctl

# audio backend (null or alsa)
AUDIO_BACKEND=null

Where  i made mistake? why it's not working?

Re: [SOLVED] cdemu - mounting error and disappearing gcdemu

It was Hal fault. To not fight with configuration i've just simply uninstalled hal and installed hal-easy from AUR insted.
But still  don't know how to fix problem ith gcdemu applet.

Done. i had to install gnome -applets and now gcdemu is working fine smile
