Archlinux as a multimedia jukebox?

hi all,

recently I installed arch on my computer and I gotta says its flexibility its amazing, thats why Im asking here the best way to do this. I wanna turn this arch installation into a jukebox for playing music and videos in parties and stuff(something similar to windows media center), im looking for at a fast-booting and full featured setup to do this. So:

-What should I install?
-Which apps do you recommend?
-Do i need to install additional codecs?

Take a look at xbmc (in community) or boxee (in the aur).
