[request] vpopmail 5.4.6

Hey,
I recently tried to install/build vpopmail 5.2.2 thats in extra currently, but it won't build, errors out with mysql.  So I was wondering if anyone could/was planning on upgrading the package anyway to the most recent version.  I wanted to get a mail server up and it seems like qmail with qmailadmin and vpopmail is the easiest.  If no one wants to update I will try to build from source.

Thanks

Re: [request] vpopmail 5.4.6

The package itself is not so dificult, but my doubts in doing it are technical ones.  On some places I read that its directory should be /var/vpopmail and others tell it should be /home/vpopmail.  I would like to know the advantages or disadvantages of those paths before doing the package.

Re: [request] vpopmail 5.4.6

I have installed vpopmail on about 4 different distros and all of them have always used /home/vpopmail for email storage.  I don't know the rational, but I never had any problems with it.  I keep my websites and other files I backup regularly in /home anyways so it just makes it easier for me to do a backup so I never thought about changing it.  The old package for vpopmail arch has now uses /home/vpopmail for the email storage too I believe.

Sorry, been very busy. Another question, There is a restriction or problem that it must be vpopmail 5.4.6, since the latest stable one is 5.4.9
