[ gtk-RecordMyDesktop ] The output is simply awful ( ~ 0 fps ).

Not sure what to explain here so please take a look at the sample and let me know if there's a solution - I've all the drivers installed and everything else runs just fine, except .. this one.

I have the same issue with qtrecordmydesktop, and even with the cli recordmydesktop (unusable backtrace, only writes broken pipe sometimes), and I have only kde installed. I wanted to post it here some months ago, (in October, it worked) but somewhere I read that recordmydesktop simply doesn't work with the newest theora. If anyone has a solution then please write me. For main Gnome users there is Istanbul in yaourt, but I don't want that much Gnome libraries at this computer

gtkrecordmydesktop sucked for me too. Ive had great luck with ffcast from aur.
