Just wondering if anyone could advise me on this problem? It's greyed out and won't show up. WVDial works so I'm not completely stuck but it'd be nice to have knetworkmanager working. The network and networkmanager daemons are running. Do I need to add modemmanager to the daemon list?
Cheers,
Me
EDIT: Solved. Big update came in for Gnome and KDE, while I was tweaking rc.conf and changed a few daemon settings. Not sure which one solved the problem but something did so I'm happy enough with that

Please be patient, I'm a n00b on Arch (only 2 years on Ubuntu) so I may say something stupid!
PS thank you to all those who contribute awesomeness to the AUR and the main packages, you guys have made my computer so much more fun to use!

Any idea, what fixed this?
I have the same issue but cant fix it.
Moreover some of my setup wireless networks have vanished, and when I create knew ones they dont connect.
Then after I create one it tells me I dont have permissions to edit it.
All from the latest updates, networkmanager etc

Settings are not lost, they are still located in ~/.kde4/share/apps/networkmanager
New polkit has messed up the things, I guess.
