Re: Arche linux netinstall FULL HTTP

try these (from archboot /i686):

[links removed]

edit: if you have grub installed on usb, no need for all the pxe stuff. just make an entry pointing to the initrd and kernel, you can configure network etc from within the install environment. did this a few times to reinstall - just load it with an existing grub on the hd, and start all over. seperate boot comes in handy here, but you may even delete the initrd/vmlinuz/grub files while partitioning, as it completely runs in ram. bit risky, never had any trouble though.

Re: Arche linux netinstall FULL HTTP

thanks you for file, I test them in several hours.

Yes, I don't use "official" manipulations, but Linux it's making for that big_smile

With my solution I have an 2Gb USB disk, who can install ALL OS, execpt Mac OS, on my PC.

At my home I use, real PXE, on THIS computer I don't have CD or PXE Ethernet card, it's an USB Ethernet card (berk), but Linux Kernel can detect it big_smile

Re: Arche linux netinstall FULL HTTP

Still don't get the PXE part. If you have grub on usb, you can just point it to initrd.img and vmlinuz, and you are set. With the files extracted from the official iso, adjusting the "archisolabel=" line to the actual label of the usb device should work.
