[SOLVED] Dropbox desktop font size way too small!

Just installed Dropbox from AUR and it is unusable on my big screen since the font size on the primary set up screen is way too small, unreadable! Google is not my friend in this case and I've been trying to locate config files all over. And opening config.db with sqlite3 and sqlitebrowser, but that .db file seems empty. How do you set font size in this thing?

While googleing I've come across a lot of windows users complaining about the looks of the dropbox web interface! Not very informative.

EDIT: marked as solved and clarifying title concerning desktop application.

I guess dropbox is qt based.

there is a similar thread but with a different application.

Try this.

Re: [SOLVED] Dropbox desktop font size way too small!

Editing .Xresources with Xft.dpi:        96 did the trick. And then xrdb -merge $HOME/.Xresources. But now the Dropbox window is too small Oh well ...
I managed to do the set up anyway so everything is ok for now.

Thanks!

# pacman -Qi dropbox

The Dropbox client is GTK2-based... You can also see it here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=23363

What Dropbox window? You mean the preferences menu, the context menu from right clicking the systray icon, which one?

Web interface? You mean the dropbox.com website? It's easy... Practically all web browsers use Ctrl + Mouse Scroll to zoom in.

Re: [SOLVED] Dropbox desktop font size way too small!

Well, indeed it is gtk2 based. But the set up window in the desktop application does not adhere to theme and font settings in gtk2, which I use. I thought I made it clear that I was not talking about the Dropbox web site. (That does not come from the AUR, does it? (irony))

It did however, respond to dpi settings, which of course influences almost all applications, qt gtk or not.

Re: [SOLVED] Dropbox desktop font size way too small!

Further findings; the settings accessible by right clicking the dropbox tray icon does follow gtk theme and font settings. It is the initial set up that does not, and that is crucial to the account and linking of the computer. Nothing works in Dropbox without the initial account linking from your computer in the desktop linux application. (just to be clear that the web site has nothing to do with this computer set up)
