[solved] Login promt before multi-user.target

Hi, Im a little bit confused as to why I get a login prompt on tty1 when booting before my desired target.

Also, as soon as I see prompts on tty1 I can try to switch to any other tty and I wont have prompts, I just see somthing like:

"starting getty on tty#"
"[  ok   ]  started getty on tty#"
but still no promt

after (in my current case) multi-user is reached, then I see prompts on all the other ttys.

Shouldnt the promts be the last thing that show "started"?

Not necessarily, but I think you can set it like this if you want https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Au … al_console (read the tip in the green box) or try adding 'quiet' https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … uring_boot

I added "quiet" to be rid of the messages altogether.  I can take a look in the journal if I need to know something.

Actually, 'Type=idle' doesn't seem to help. I use 'quiet' anyway so that doesn't bother me much ;P

'quit' makes my screen blink eratically

But its quite normal to have other applications start after the prompts show up? Also, loging out of gnome back to gdm there is a kind of print screen of boot messages when I logout before the blue lines and gray of gdm

Yes, why not? They're independent.
