Printer prints blank pages

Desktop : gnome

I have installed a Brother HL-2140 printer.
Test page prints properly.
Text from text editor prints properly.

.gif and .png files print blank pages from default image viewer.
(I have also tried other image viewers with the same result.  Printing the image from browser also results in blank pages)

I have changed the printer driver to all the available options with no change.

Thank you

Re: Printer prints blank pages

I have not noticed any problems with my Brother 2270DW using Brother supplied drivers and CUPS.  The following article seems to indicate that you may need to use CUPS to print images.

Re: Printer prints blank pages

I note you say you have used all available drivers. Just wondering if you have checked the list at www.openprinting.org/printer//Brother/Brother-HL-2140.
