Hi, guys. I have wireless card rtl8723 on my laptop and it doesn't work. This is was terminal showed used lspci command:
01:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co./ Ltd. Device 8723
iwconfig and ifconfig doesn't shows anything interesting, only eth0, and ppp0.
when use:
modprobe rtl8723de terminal showed FATAL: Module rtl8723de not found.
I tryed this http://askubuntu.com/questions/139632/w … recognized , but doesn't work.
I tried to used ndiswrapper and driver from cd, what was included in box with laptop. After all i have:
ndiswrapper -l
netrtwlane : driver installed
device (10EC:8723) present
And when i try
modprobe ndiswrapper
nothing changing - ifconfig and iwconfig doesn't see wlan0
Can someone help me finding solution?

Not sure if you just made a typo in your post, or something, but it looks like the module mentioned in the link you posted is named rtl8723e, not rtl8723de.
So maybe try
modprobe rtl8723e
and see if that works.

Sorry, it's my mistake. But
modprobe rtl8723e
doesn't work too.

You say your wireless card is rtl 8723e but what driver do you need for it?

What you mean? I think i need rtl8723e driver, or not?

What's going into kernel 3.8 is called rtl8723ae. There's also a patch for 3.7: http://www.lwfinger.com/realtek_drivers … ster_patch
For earlier kernels, what's available at that Ubuntu link should work, I've seen success reports with it. To diagnose why it doesn't work for Jean, a better bug report is needed than "it doesn't work".
