I'm a long-time Ubuntu user who is strongly considering switching to Arch or ArchBang. I've got a Computer Science degree, so I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty with manual configuration.
However, one of the things I've had the most problems with is finding GPU driver support. My laptop has a 6630M AMD/Sandy Bridge hybrid GPU.
I do a bit of graphics programming, and would like to tinker with Steam, so getting these drivers is important to me.
What is fglrx support like in Arch? Are there people who have gotten AMD/Intel powerXpress hybrid graphics working? Are there tutorials outlining how to do this?
Thanks!

Always search first in the Arch wiki. The wiki most of the time covers what you are looking for.

I see nothing there about hybrid or powerXpress, which is what has given my trouble in other distros. Also, the wiki page contains numerous "Out of date" warnings, so I'd like up-to-date information.

Beautiful! I was not expecting that there would be a specific package. I'm liking Arch already. Thanks!

Welcome to Arch!
Currently Arch + AUR has the most number of packages than any other linux distro.
