Can't change keyboard layout.

Hello, I have just installed Arch for the first time and encountered a problem. My keyboard layout refuses to change from English to Swedish layout, even though I have written KEYMAP=SV_latin1 into vconsole.conf.  Not sure if it helps, but I can also mention that when I write "/etc/vconsole.conf" I get "permission denied: /etc/vconsole.conf".

Re: Can't change keyboard layout.

What's the output of

cat /etc/vconsole.conf

Don't run

$ /etc/vconsole.conf

- /etc/vconsole.conf is a config file, not a script or binary, you don't execute this file.

Re: Can't change keyboard layout.

edit: I solved it, embarrising mistake, used SV_latin1 instead of sv-latin1. I am not really sure how I could type so wrong, must have looked at the wrong place. Thanks anyway.
