solr and drupal

I`m trying to use solr with drupal, I`ve installed solr 4.3.1 and php-solr 1.0.2 from AUR. Solr starts fine however when I try to go to http://localhost:8983/solr or http://localhost:8983/solr/admin I get "404 not found". Solr is accessible http://localhost:8983/, but I cannot configure drupal to connect to solr with this address, any clues how to do things right? All guides out there did not help

Anyone? Maybe some suggestions about configuring solr right?
