kvm filesystem passthrough fail

For the life of me, I can not get passthrough to work between my host/quests.
I am able to get Mapped and Squash working in their respective rights, however they are more restrictive than I need for my solution.

I have the right users +uid and groups+gui on both host+guest, but even as root i cant get rw working.
However, If i chown a file or dir to the qemu.conf user i can modify but not create via the guest.
Anybody?

Re: kvm filesystem passthrough fail

Are you aware of the "security_model" option of it? Look for it in `man 1 qemu`

Re: kvm filesystem passthrough fail

always found VirtFS/9p more trouble than it's worth and better to use NFS instead.

I never got plan 9 to work either. Good to know someone else is trying.
