Arduino IDE Displays Poorly

Hello.

When I install Arduino on my system, I usually have to make a few adjustments to get it to behave right. I use dwm as my window manager, so with many java applications I have to run wmname LG3D and this usually fixes java GUI issues.

The Arduino IDE opens up, but when I try to have it full-screen, the IDE is not resized. Instead the area that the text should have filled into is just a light gray color. Afterwards, the context menus are offset and virtually unusable.

Any input would be most appreciated!
