Wine wants to download mono although it's already installed

I installed the packages wine, wine-mono and wine_gecko. Now I created a new WINEPREFIX:

env WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.wineprefix/name wine setup.exe

While creating this prefix, Wine shows a prompt to download Mono - but I've installed it by pacman.

What am I doing wrong?

did you try export instead of env?

You aren't doing anything wrong, the current wine-mono package is older than what current wine uses and hence it will prompt to install it. Wait for the wine-mono package to be updated.
