[SOLVED]openvpn and update-resolve-conf

I'm running Arch with gnome 3.20, when I first started using the update resolv conf script I never had an issue, but I am now and was toward the end of using gnome 3.18. In the past I installed update-resolv-conf from the AUR and added the necessary lines to my clients conf and automagically the right dns servers were being used. Now I'm having an issue where the regular dns servers through my isp are showing up along with the vpn's dns servers when I check at  https://ipleak.net/.

I go through PIA for vpn service. I had to go into network manager and turn off automatic dns and add the dns servers I want used while on vpn. For now, until I can figure out why I'm getting both dns servers manually adding them to network manager will work. If anyone knows why this is happening I could use to be pointed in the right direction.

Re: [SOLVED]openvpn and update-resolve-conf

I was searching for a way to fix my issue and I found this

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mullvad

I noticed the update-resolv-conf on the page above is different than mine, that update-resolv-conf points to where the resolv conf is, mine didn't. All I did was edit one line in my update-resolv-conf, I made it look like this:

## You might need to set the path manually here, i.e.
RESOLVCONF=/usr/bin/resolvconf

Now my dns updates properly, simple fix
