Go back to the install disk and install it from there.

No one suggested starting from the beginning. Just use the installation medium to install a single additional package.
FYI, one could also use curl if needed. (curl to get the page, open it in an editor, identify the required field names, then another call to curl to post the data and follow any redirects).

live install medium shows that the drive is write protected

"Shows"? How.
What command do you use? What error do you get?
Krypton. I really don't think Arch Linux is a wise choice for you right now. You've been told this a few times in your other threads. If you do opt to persist with arch linux and you continue to seek help here, you must adhere to our guidelines as laid out in our code of conduct and the stickied threads in this subforum. Giving limited information and expecting us to extract information and hold your hand through an entire process is not welcome here.

OK, let me try this one more time:
Exactly what command(s) do you use? Exactly what error do you get?
For the record, this is one of the stickied threads I was referring to.

How did you partition your drive/s during your second installation? Did you create a new partitiontable or just mounted existing partitions?

He has already reinstalled the system so there is no point in discussing what errors he got, (mostly he won't be able to tell it exactly and anyway it is of no use now).
