Acer Aspire ES1-520 allways with load above 1

Hello,

I have an Acer  Aspire ES1-520 and it allways keep with  load above 1.0 .

I tried to disabled everything and only when i remove the modules  ohci_pci and ohci_hcd the load goes to 0.
But i need these modules, so i can use USB.
Can anyone tell me i need to check or do to solve this?

I run the next commands and check the command dmesg -T  to get more information.

modprobe -r ohci_pci
modprobe -r ohci_hcd
modprobe  ohci_pci
modprob ohci_hcd

dmesg -T

Re: Acer Aspire ES1-520 allways with load above 1

Your laptop actually has some USB ports that don't support USB 2.0? That's odd...
Either way you should only have ehci_hcd, blacklisting ohci_hcd and rebooting.

Re: Acer Aspire ES1-520 allways with load above 1

Hello,

I found this link http://jfcarter.net/~jimc/hardware/acer … etup.shtml  that suggest to blacklist rtsx_usb_ms .

I have done that and now when the system is idle, the load is bellow 1.

cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
blacklist rtsx_usb_ms

Thanks for the help.
