Hi All,
I am completely new to Arch Linux. After installing it in virtualBox ,i tried to boot but the booting stops at "Reached Target Graphical Interface" . Ctrl+C didn't make me reach the command prompt.I have installed VirtualBox in Ubuntu , so Ctrl+Alt+F2 is taking me to my Ubuntu prompt, not to the command prompt for Arch, can't help .
Besides, while booting i also get "Failed to start Load Kernel Modules".
Any pointers on how to circumvent the issue and atleast reach the command prompt.
Thanks in advance,
ArchA

Try Host Key + F2.
I believe Host Key is set to Right Ctrl by default in VirtualBox.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the quick reply.
But I got stuck at startX, as it gets terminated with error. Here's the errors I have in Xorg.0.log :
(EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory
(EE) AddScreen/ScreenInit failed for driver 0
Is there a way to select and copy the entire log from the arch command prompt in VB ? I'm sure there must be. It would give more clarity on the errors occured.
Some more details considering there might be some graphic card issues I ran the following commands:
uname -a
Linux ArchLinux 4.6.2-1-ARCH #1 SHIP PREEMPT Wed Jun 8 09:34:34 CEST 2016 i686 GNU/Linux
lspci | grep -VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: InnoTek Systemberatung GmbH VirtualBox Graphics Card
Note : i have already installed vesa.
Any pointers on how to proceed.
TIA,
ArchA
