Wireless on laptop doesn't exceed 2 MB/s

Hello, I have a problem with my Wi-Fi, in Windows it can transfer at 12 MB/s on my current router, but when I use Linux it can't exceed 2 MB/s. The laptop is Acer VN7-792G and uses this firmware for the wireless - /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA6174, I've tried googling and found a github firmware that's 8 months old and probably part of linux-firmware package by now. So my question - is there some configuration file I can edit to enable faster speeds or is it because of the firmware?
