I have Nokia 230 mobile(basic model)
I am using archlinux. I was able to connect mobile to my laptop using USB and was able to see the storage files using pcmanfn (file manager).I used to get notification when i connect to my laptop.
Recently i upgraded my archlinux. After that i cant get to see the files in my phone. No notification comes from pcmanfm (file manager)
I checked dmesg: when connect it says:

Well, Arch is seeing it. I am not familiar with that phone. What OS does it use?

Its Nokia own operating system. Its not a smart phone (no touch screen). I have mtp related softwares installed. if we see the lsusb -vvv, its mentiones 'Picture Transfer Protocol'.As per For file managers that use GVFS (GNOME Files), install gvfs-mtp for MTP or gvfs-gphoto2 for PTP support. (from MTP wiki arch). i have installed all the gvfs-mtp and gvfs-gphoto2. My android phone i can connect and can transfer files and copy files.
